4. Driver App & Mobile
Empower your team on the road.
BinCommand isn't just for the office. We built a dedicated mobile interface for your drivers so you can stop texting addresses and waiting for status updates.
The Driver App is designed to be simple, big-buttoned, and distraction-free.
1. How to Access
Your drivers do not need to download a heavy app from the App Store. BinCommand works as a lightweight web app that runs on any smartphone (iPhone or Android).
Open the Browser: Have your driver open Chrome or Safari on their phone.
Go to the URL: Enter
app.bincommand.com(or your specific system URL).Login: Use the email and password you created for them in the "Team" settings.
💡 Pro Tip: ask your driver to tap "Share" > "Add to Home Screen". This creates an app icon on their phone just like a native app!
2. The "My Jobs" View
When a driver logs in, they don't see the complex admin dashboard. They see a clean list of Today's Tasks.
Ordered by Priority: Tasks appear in the order you want them done.
Clear Info: Each card shows:
Order Type (Delivery vs. Pickup)
Size (e.g., 20yd)
City/Location
3. The Workflow
Here is how a driver completes a job in 3 taps:
Tap 1: "Navigate" 🗺️
Clicking the map icon next to the address automatically opens Google Maps or Waze (depending on their phone settings) with the destination pre-loaded. No more typing errors!
Tap 2: "Start Job" ▶️
When they arrive at the site, they tap "Start". This lets the office know: "I am on site."
Tap 3: "Complete" ✅
Once the bin is dropped or picked up:
They tap Complete.
(Optional) They can add a quick note (e.g., "Blocked driveway" or "Placed on left side").
The job disappears from their phone and is marked as Done on your office map instantly.
4. Real-Time Sync
Because BinCommand is cloud-based, the moment you drag-and-drop an order on your computer, it appears on the driver's phone.
Last Minute Changes: If a customer cancels, remove the order from the Dashboard, and it vanishes from the driver's list immediately. No need to call them to say "Turn around!"
✅ Your Fleet is Connected.
Now that your drivers are connected, the final piece of the puzzle is understanding the Map itself.
