6. Users & Team
Managing Users & Team
Build your squad. Secure your data.
You cannot scale your business alone. BinCommand allows you to invite your staff to the platform with specific "Roles" (permissions). This ensures that your drivers see only what they need to see, while you keep full control over the financials.
1. How to Invite a Team Member
To add a new user to your company account:
Click on Settings (Gear Icon) in the sidebar.
Select the Team tab.
Click the + Invite Member button.
Enter their Email Address.
Select their Role (see definitions below).
Click Send Invite.
π§ What happens next? The team member will receive an email with a link to set up their own password. Once they do, they can log in immediately.
2. Understanding Roles (Permissions)
Choosing the right role is critical for security.
π Admin
Who: Owners, Partners, or General Managers.
Access: Everything.
They can see revenue reports, change pricing, edit company details, invite/remove other users, and cancel the subscription.
Give this access with caution.
π₯οΈ Dispatcher
Who: Office Staff, Sales Reps, Logistics Managers.
Access: Operations Only.
They CAN: Create orders, view the map, assign drivers, and manage customers.
They CANNOT: Change company settings, see Stripe billing details, or delete the account.
Perfect for the person running the desk while you are away.
π Driver
Who: Your truck drivers.
Access: Mobile App Only.
They have the most restricted view. When they log in, they do not see the Dashboard, Revenue, or the Big Map.
They only see the "My Jobs" list assigned specifically to them.
Keeps the interface simple and prevents them from seeing sensitive company data.
3. Removing a User
If an employee leaves the company, you should revoke their access immediately to protect your data.
Go to Settings > Team.
Find the user in the list.
Click the Delete (Trash Icon) or Revoke Access button.
They will be logged out immediately and cannot sign back in.
π Congratulations!
You have completed the BinCommand Operator Manual.
You now have a fully configured system, a structured inventory, a grasp of the logistics flow, and a team ready to execute.
